The existing addon was not going to work for Firefox 57 and above. It had to be re-written, and with those re-writes, many existing features could not be accomplished (for example, pop-up options dialog, shortcuts, and a host of other items). As Firefox evolves its new WebExtensions API, we will be able to add more of these features again.
